D-Aspartic Acid is the D-isomer of the amino acid aspartic acid. While L-aspartic acid is incorporated into proteins, D-aspartic acid is primarily found in the neuroendocrine system, playing a unique and important role in hormone synthesis and regulation.
D-Aspartic Acid is naturally present in the pituitary gland, testes, and hypothalamus. It is directly involved in the synthesis and release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, which in turn signal the testes to produce testosterone.
