Hairy roots induced by agrobacterium rhizogenes can grow rapidly on hormone free medium and synthesize plant specific secondary metabolites. It has been reported that hairy roots were induced by Agrobacterium rhizogenes infection in Dongge Ali. In addition, through in vitro culture of branches at different growth stages in Dongge Ali, the results showed that it was difficult to disinfect the aged branches, while it was easier to disinfect the new branches that germinated in the same year; The medium that can induce Dongge Ali callus is MS+6-BA0.5mg/L+NAA0.01mg/L+3% sucrose.
